Dr. Arvid Edward Returns to KMVS — Celebrated Veterinarian and Media Personality Expands His Impressive Legacy

Cincinnati native and Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine graduate, Dr. Arvid Edward, brings more than 27 years of experience and a distinguished reputation back to KMVS. A trusted name in veterinary care, Dr. Edward’s career has been marked by excellence, innovation, and a deep commitment to community service.

In 2003, Dr. Edward was honored in Los Angeles by the Parent Involvement in Education Foundation, receiving an award for “Practicing the Highest Standards of Veterinary Medicine and Outstanding Service” to the community — a testament to his passion for making a difference both inside and outside the clinic.

Beyond his accomplishments in veterinary medicine, Dr. Edward has built an exciting career in television and media. He starred in the beloved children’s series The Dooley and Pals Show, appeared in a wide range of Disney commercials and print ads (including a Walt Disney World spread for Ebonymagazine), and featured in a national Frito-Lay commercial for “Rollitos.” His work also includes improvisation training with the renowned Groundlings School of Improvisation and numerous pet-related radio appearances.

Dr. Edward’s on-screen talents extend to starring roles in the Amazon Prime reality series Pet Doctors of Atlanta and acclaimed short films such as Sounds of the FightHills Like White Elephants, and the Cannes Film Festival selection In the Name of the Nameless. Most recently, he has served as the resident veterinarian for the nationally syndicated TV show THE DOCTORS and continues to star on the internationally popular series Bondi Vet and Bondi Vet: Coast to Coast.

In a crowning achievement, Dr. Edward was featured in TIME magazine for his outstanding contributions to the field of veterinary medicine — a recognition he holds close to his heart.

Now, Dr. Arvid Edward is thrilled to rejoin his KMVS family, bringing with him a renewed passion for service, storytelling, and advancing the field of veterinary care.
