HOBBIES/INTERESTS: Dr. Emert graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. She has a special interest in complicated internal medicine cases, ultrasound, and feline medicine.
IMMEDIATE FAMILY AND PETS: She lives in Woodstock with her husband Kevin, son Asher, and their three dogs: Hank, Amelia, and Biscuit and a cat named Linus.
FAVORITE PART OF MY JOB: “I have always wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as I can remember. From the first time we took our family pet to the veterinarian, I knew I wanted to help animals. I enjoy trying to understand what animals are telling me, since they have no voice. Treating complicated cases and learning from cases that do not go as planned helps me improve as a veterinarian every day.”
